BEMA-Black Emergency Managers Association-Job Announcement!!FBI hiring special agents

The FBI is looking for special agent candidates, but the canvass is only open through 8/15.  Candidates can apply through https://fbijobs.gov/032.asp through 11:59 p.m. local time on 8/15.  Please feel free to forward this info to anyone you know who might be interested in applying.
 
We're especially looking for people with these backgrounds:
- cyber security
- intelligence
- computer engineering
- computer science
- computer forensics
- network administration
- information technology
- lab scientists
- electrical engineers
- mechanical engineers
- CPAs
- bar-certified attorneys
- law enforcement
- military
- pilots
 
And speakers of foreign languages are also needed, especially people who speak:
- Somali
- Spanish
- Mandarin Chinese
- Korean
- Arabic
- Urdu
- Pashtu
- Punjabi
- Russian
- Farsi
 
These are the minimum qualifications:
- US citizen
- At least 23 years old but not yet 37 at time of hiring (except for federal law enforcement officers in the 1811 series, or veterans with veterans' preference)
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Have lived in the US for 3 out of the last 5 years unless directly deployed overseas by the US government or military (includes military spouses)
- Have a valid driver's license and at least 6 months of driving experience
- Have at least 3 years of full-time professional work experience (at least 36 hours per week)
 
The 3 years of work experience is NOT required for:
- applicants with computer science or IT backgrounds
- foreign language speakers who score a 3 or higher on an FBI language test
- former FBI honors interns with at least a 3.0 GPA
- applicants with a juris doctor
- applicants with a master's or doctoral degree need only 2 years of work experience.
 
Candidates who apply between now and 8/15 may be hired in 2015 or 2016.
